  • Storck USA was established in Chicago, IL in 1975. Chicago was chosen as the location for Storck’s U.S. operation because of its central location and status as the candy manufacturing capital of the US. Today, Storck USA employs more than 50 people dedicated to providing the finest confectionery products to the U.S market.

    Our flagship brand, Werther’s Original, was launched in 1981. By 1988, it had become the top selling hard candy in the U.S. - a position it still holds today. Mamba was introduced to the U.S. market in 1985, continuing the Storck tradition of quality candies. The success of these brands paved the way for the introduction of RIESEN in 1991.

    In 2001, Storck USA further added to the Werther´s brand by launching Werther´s Original Chewy Caramels. In 2005 Storck introduced its first sugar-free hard candy with the creamy taste of Werther´s Original. Since then the Werther's Original brand has expanded to include Caramel Coffee hard candies Creamy Caramel Filled hard candies, Caramel Apple Filled hard candies & Soft Creme Caramels. The Werther's Original Sugar Free brand has also expanded to include Caramel Coffee Sugar Free, Caramel Cinnamon Sugar Free, Caramel Apple Sugar Free & Caramel Chocolate Sugar Free hard candies.

    merci Finest Assortment of European Chocolates was introduced to the U.S. market on a limited basis in 2003.
