Associate Manager, eCommerce
Content Management and Optimization: Leverage data/KPIs to ensure category/brand eCommerce content needs are identified and partner with brand, sales, creative partners, and content syndication partners to fill content gaps including writing content, managing graphics/hero images. Develop best practices to drive planned every day, seasonal, and impulse purchases for Storck brands.
Business Analytics: Leverage Storck data and analytical tools to update the organization on eCommerce performance and evaluate the impact of eCommerice/digital investment. Monitor Storck performance on key digital platforms and develop/deliver on action plans to continuously improve.
Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership and educate Storck on how to include eCommerce as a key integrated component of our national brand and key retailer planning vs. a silo. Stay up to date on digital capabilities/trends to ensure Storck is continuously raising our digital IQ.
Vendor Management: In partnership with the Senior Manager, Insights & Shopper Marketing, manage outside vendor and service partnership agreements. This includes negotiating the scope, cost, ensuring the scope contracted, and other payment/vendor services are completed and aligned with vendor-partnership goals and expectations.
Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no direct reports or people supervisory responsibilities for this position; however, this position will be responsible for managing outside vendor and service partnership agreements and relationships; as well as, this position is expected to serve as a leadership role model for the team.
5+ years success in eCommerce and/or Digital Marketing
Solid understanding of SEO and how to optimize content on key partner sites to improve Storck brand performance
Solid knowledge/prior experience guiding content creation and managing content syndication partners (Salsify)
Experience working directly with sales organizations and key .com customers (Walmart, Instacart, Target, Amazon, Kroger)
Experience working with brands and creative agencies to develop necessary content
Ability to leverage data/insight to develop strategy and tactics to drive eCommerce growth
Ability and desire to solve problems, overcome obstacles, and continue to make progress against plans
Knowledge of eCommerce data sources (IRI or Nielsen scan and panel data strongly preferred)
Energetic and action oriented individual sought
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required; degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Psychology or Liberal Arts preferred and two to three years related experience in the consumer goods industry required.
