Manage a group of customers to achieve designated sales target levels.  Develop profitable business with new and existing customers.  Possess and apply detailed product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of retail customers’ business go-to-market strategies and execution.  Responsible for the direct sales process and relationship, aiming at meeting and / or exceeding sales targets.  Is in charge of accelerated sales expansion, new product distribution, and relationship building.  Submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to achieve targets.  Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships and ensuring that customers receive high quality customer service. Be the channel expert to key internal stakeholders and Storck expert to external stakeholders.

Supervisory Responsibilities:       

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but manages broker relationship. The Channel Lead Value Sales Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of their areas including evaluating performance, rewarding and/or redirecting brokers, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Your main responsibilities
  • Develop Storck USA’s business to its maximum potential within the assigned accounts and marketing area.

  • Partner with internal/external team members to develop and implement short and long term business strategies per corporate guidelines.  (Sales Planning, Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance and Administration)

  • Develops, implements and analyzes current status of the Strategic Customer Business Plans for all assigned accounts.

  • Distribution/Merchandising

  • Promotional/Display Activity

  • Complete P&L Responsibility

  • General Business Development

  • Achieves maximum distribution levels as defined by trade channel/customer as determined by the Senior Management Team.

  • Ensures in-store merchandising initiatives for Storck brands.  This includes positioning, freshness, price and in stock levels.

  • Deploy assigned Retail Coordinator (Broker network and/or Direct) to maximize execution of Storck’s personnel to ensure understanding and proper execution.

  • Communicates all pertinent customer, market, and broker information to Storck internal and field personnel to ensure understanding and proper execution.

  • Manages broker network to maximize customer retail and headquarter execution of Storck initiatives.

  • Actively participates in all pertinent Management meetings.

Your qualifications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)

  • Business Intelligence (BI) by IBM preferred

  • Understanding of IRI or Nielsen data and software highly desired

  • Motivated, proactive, and action oriented

  • Leadership skills including ability to influence without direct reporting relationships

  • Strong presentation skills; clear verbal and written communication

  • Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum 7-10 years+ experience in direct sales and sales management, CPG / food industry sales experience preferred.
