The Sales Planning team represents the support team that drives insights, category leadership, and customer forecasting resources to support Sales and Marketing plans for the company, national accounts, and regional customers across the Storck portfolio of brands.  The team will provide our customers with actionable data and insights, as well as, personalized solutions to drive incremental growth for our retail partners and Storck.

This role will manage the Storck portfolio team supporting all of the sales managers.  The primary objectives of this role are to drive accelerated growth, enhance forecast sales accuracy, and elevate customer partnership through the development of actionable insights and analysis.

Your main responsibilities
  • Lead the development of insights initiatives for the Storck portfolio of brands

  • Works with sales managers to define key strategies and opportunities and the execution of those priorities

  • Partner with sales managers in the development of annual plan and key monthly initiatives for major customers

  • Provide analytics, forecast and insights to support the Storck demand planning process for assigned customers

  • Collaborate with cross functional team: Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Finance

  • Partner with Sales Operations Manager to produce post promotion analysis on major customer programs and key company initiatives

  • Develop fact based selling stories leveraging syndicated data and marketing national plans

  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned customers, sales managers, brokers, and key internal partners

  • Effectively manage and develop four direct reports

Your qualifications
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Prior people management experience

  • Proficiency in shopper data and analytics

  • Through understanding of IRI/ACNielsen data, non-syndicated customer POS a plus, Household panel data, etc.

  • Comfortable and desiring to present at the Senior Executive Level

  • Strong analytical, data analysis, problem solving, and storytelling experience

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business curriculum, MBA degree preferred

  • 5-10 years’ experience across CPG and category management, sales account support, or sales planning

  • Prior people management experience
