Your main responsibilities
  • Operational

  • Provide user support for EDI to SAP application interface issues.

  • Customer Service – Purchase Order and Delivery Note Issues

  • Logistics – Delivery Note and Shipping Advice issues

  • Supply Chain – ASN reporting and Shipment Status

  • Credit & Collections – Invoices and EFT issues

  • Sales and Marketing – Point of Sales

  • All areas– Application Advice and Text Message

  • Perform Daily FA reconciliation and Process verification.

  • Monitor Daily Activity

  • Check Inbound and Outbound Processing Logs

  • Monitor Communications Logs

  • Contact broker, customers and warehouses where necessary

  • Trading Partner Liaison (general)

  • Help Desk Support

  • Complete EDI surveys and Process Requests for Information

  • Develop and maintain positive trading partner relationships.

  • Ensures error-free and timely EDI and Web transactions.

  • Set up and maintenance of new and existing trading partners.

  • Analyze and support all IDOC related issues

  • Develop and implement proper EDI Audits and Cycle Data tracking.

Your qualifications
  • Communications

  • Basic understanding of EDI Value Added Networks.

  • Basic understanding of EDI carbon copy processing.

  • Basic understanding of Internet communications protocols (AS2).

  • Basic understanding of encryption techniques and digital certificates.

  • Create and test AS2 connections with Trading Partners.

  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues.

  • Monitor, maintain and document the AS2 Certificate process (periodic partner certificates and cyclic Storck certificate exchanges)

  • EDI Interfaces and Maps

  • Ability to interpret interface file structures (IDOC knowledge a plus).

  • Ability to analyze and interpret external partner mapping requirements.

  • Create and modify EDI maps based on internal requirements (3PL’s, Copackers and Transportation partners)

  • Create and modify EDI maps based on external requirements (retailers and distributors).

  • Test EDI Maps and processes.

  • Adaptable to learn new EDI translators/converters (Lobster Datawizard).

  • Document all used transaction document types and processes.

  • Ability to create and interpret testing scripts.

  • Thorough knowledge of EDI communication, all ANSI X12 message types in different versions (4010 and above)

  • Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

  • Three plus years hands on experience in maintaining and operating EDI mapping and communications systems.

  • Experience (business knowledge) in CPG, Warehousing or Transportation is a plus  

  • Excellent communication skills and strong analytical and organization skills.

  • Able to multitask in fast-paced environment.
