This is an opportunity for an experienced shopper marketing manager to elevate the shopper marketing capability within Storck. Storck has proven the value of shopper marketing for our business and need a strong shopper marketing leader to help us build our shopper marketing capability for the future. The shopper marketing manager will be charged with creating, planning, and executing shopper programs to support key brand tentpole initiatives at select priority retailers. The shopper marketing manager will need to be able to develop holistic shopper marketing plans that encompass multiple touchpoints across the shopper path the purchase. Experience with retailer media, in-store display/communication, and digital offers is essential. The ability to think strategically and be a strategic thought leader within an organization will be critical.
Shopper Marketing Manager
Proactively develop shopper programs to sell-in and gain incremetal retailer support for key brand tentpole programs
Build repeatable, scalable, shopper executions that align brand and retailer priorities
Develop and execute shopper marketing plans that drive demand for our products, support long term strategic priorities and address specific retailer needs
Support creation of persuasive sell-in presentations to gain alignment from key retailer stakeholders
Work closely with consumer insights and category management teams to gain an understanding of brand and shopper insights to maximize impact of marketing programs at retailers.
Collaborate with brand and sales teams to prioritize opportunities
Own the shopper marketing budget and work with brand and sales teams to allocate spend against the programs that will deliver the best return on our investment
Analyze program results, sharing with key stakeholders, and using learning to inform future programs
Partner with existing media and creative agencies to support all necessary elements for retailer specific program development and execution
Be the internal shopper marketing expert. Raising the shopper marketing knowledge level of all internal Storck stakeholders

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
5+ years of specific customer expertise and proven track record of developing successful shopper marketing programs with ‘must-win’ customers
Experience working with - Walmart, Regional Grocery (Alberston’s, Publix, Meijer, HEB), 7-11, and Costco or other major national retailer required
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Propensity for creative problem-solving and opportunity identification
Effectively communicates & builds relationships at all organizational levels
Foundational understanding of shopper insight and category management principles
Ability to turn data in to inspiration for creative shopper program development
Advanced presentation skills - both preparing in PowerPoint and delivering to an audience
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA degree with emphasis in Marketing preferred.
Five to seven years of retail marketing experience.
Proven results from a customer-facing role.
Developing and Executing Shopper Marketing Strategies and Plans with agency partners.
Travel:
20-25%, including International Travel.

Hybrid Work Model, including Monday and Friday Work from Home, and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in normal working conditions for an office environment downtown Chicago, IL.
